Welcome to Episode 147.

This is probably one of the easiest episodes of Observed Tech to describe and label because it is all about Windows 10.

Unless you have been under a rock or disconnected from the Internet over the last week then you know that Microsoft has revealed the beginnings of what the next version of Windows is going to look like.

Not only is this the next version of Windows, but it is also the last major release of Windows which is why Microsoft caught everyone off guard and named it Windows 10 instead of Windows 9.

This release is being touted as the version of Windows that will power everything from small screened Internet of Things (IoT)  devices all the way up to Xbox, large screen displays such as Perceptive Pixels (formerly known as Surface) and the very popular convertible or 2 in 1 form factor of computers.

In other words – this is a pretty big deal and everyone talked about it so much that Windows 10 trended in Twitter’s Top Ten Trending Items worldwide for a couple of days.

So in this show I talk about Windows 10 ranging from my thoughts to those of others and everything in between with plenty of links to get you caught up just in case you were offline this past week.

Until next time enjoy the show and thanks for listening.
