PDEQ has launched a new Tire Inflation Education Program to encourage you to save money and improve the environment. There is so much for us all to learn when it comes to talking tires! Do you know why your tires need to be properly inflated? When tires are pumped up to the optimum level of air pressure, they have just enough tire on the road to do the job, but not enough to drag you down. Think of what it was like when you rode a bicycle – it was much easier to fly along when your bike tires were pumped up. It is the same with your car tires.
