So the interview you'll hear today I actually recorded last night before the T BIRD AND THE BREAKS show in Oakland. I live about 40 minutes from the venue. I was thinking about texting a couple of friends to come meet me. I was totally going to go and support an indie band like I like to do, but I could not justify the 40 minute drive. That is how lazy I have become living here in the Bay Area. The venue wasn't close to a BART station so that ruled out sensible public transportation (and drinking). I love T BIRD AND THE BREAKS music. They were super cool to be on my show, but I couldn't get out of my BLEEPING house! The nail in the coffin was literally the nail in the coffin when I turned on SLEEPY HOLLOW on Hulu and watched some undead shenanigans going on. So sorry, T Bird. I will have to now fly to Austin to see you play. And I will thoroughly enjoy hearing our interview and four of your great songs over the next four podcasts!
