Robin Williams was so instrumental in making talk shows interesting again. He would show up on the Tonight Show and everyone would realize that this is what we had all been starving for. His stream of conscious rantings made you see fast edited movies and over the top Broadway musicals. Yet he was one man. Disney tried to animate him in Aladdin: they could barely keep up. Talk show hosts loved him. We loved him. Thank you, Robin, for going everywhere your creative mind took you from stand-up to movies and to an occasional sit com along the way. We are all saddened you are no longer there to make us smile.
