This week on the podcast Phil and Jake are joined by Dan Andrews of tropicalmba.com. Dan studied Philosophy in college, and thought briefly about being a professor, but couldn’t face the lack of opportunities to move around the world. He went into business because he figured that business guys could define what they wanted in life and go for it. He was right about that, but he didn’t figure out how to pull it off until 5 years later. The breaking point for him was making 100,000K+ a year in salary. It was the level he always aspired to without really questioning it too much. Once he arrived there though, he realized that his life wasn’t any better and he wasn’t getting any closer to the freedom he desired, and had experienced as a traveler.
