Pucking Dunches

Thanks for joining us for another Joy the Baker Podcast!  We spent an hour last Thursday ducking punches… or ‘pucking dunches’ as Tracy would rather say.  It all started when Tracy had to race to meet the trash man and I wouldn’t get on Instagram.

This week we’re talking about the (summer) time honored tradition of The Summer Bucket List.  You know… it’s the list we have every intention of completing ever summer with varying degrees of success!

I loathe about how I haven’t made the hamburger buns I’ve promised to make for two years.  The public loathing was enough to get me in my kitchen after the podcast to finally make them:  Turkey Sloppy Joes with Buttery Buns!  The summer bucket lists are working themselves out… slowly but surely.

Not on our summer bucket list:  Homemade French Fries.  Been there, done that.  Lessons learned:  always go out for French Fries.  We’re worth it!

One exception to the homemade french fry rule is Baked Chili Cheese Fries.  Totally doable and delicious!

On Tracy’s summer bucket list:  reading Delicious! by Ruth Reichl and Delancey by Molly Wizenberg.

On my summer bucket list:  a serious amount of Barre3 classes and an instagram booty.  Yes… I’m still talking about that!  SORRY!

Ok… so the deal is, we’re hoping to interview an Instagram fitness star on the podcast!  Last time we interviewed a maaaajor person we didn’t know it was Tyler Florence and that got a little scary (for us, not for you).  Remember that episode?  It’s called the Flozone.  Relive it if you’d like.

We’re hoping to interview @nate_diesel23.  Maybe dreams do come true.  That’s all we’re saying.

Lastly, we talk about address two questions about dating your co-workers.  Maybe it can work out?  Maybe it’s a terrible idea?  Maybe you should just go for broke and date the boss?  What do you think?

Thank you for joining us for another episode of the Joy the Baker Podcast.

Guess what!?  We’re currently in the midst of building a brand new Homefries.  We want things to be simple and super functional and we’re working on that for you!  Thanks for you patience and thank you so much for listening!

As always, contact us through email:  contact (at) homefries (dot) com or give us a call at (817)82-fries.

We love you a lot!
