The Home Server Show 211

January 31, 2013

We’re back for another full episode of the Home Server Show. I’ve got some Synology goodies to show you and talk about while Jim has some Drobo news to share.  We are both taking a look at the new admin app for 2012 Essentials that’s out for Windows 8, RT, and Windows Phone 8. Lots of news, lots of discussions.  Enjoy

I have a new link to the Microsoft store if you are thinking of shopping any Microsoft gear, XBox, Surface Pro, etc.  I’ll get a kickback on each purchase so thanks!

The YouTube of this episode is live on my channel:  http://youtube.com/homeservershow

Also, if you are interested, Chris Barnes, Michael Howard, Jim Collison, and myself recorded a one hour YouTube discussing XSplit vs.  Wirecast.  We got really geeky into these products and the future of video podcasting for Home Server Show.  Andrew Morris also made a brief appearance to fix a nagging G+ issue for me! It was a lot of fun but might not be entirely within your interests but have a look anyway!

Follow Jim @jcollison.  Follow Dave, @homeservershow.
