• Had an amazing Silverwastes run. I was in the zone getting my MF as high as I could get it and just happened to have basically the perfect Silverwastes experience. Everything went so smooth!

  • sidenote: one other time in SW I was running to help a pack dolyak. The dolyak event bugs out just as I notice another player is also there, and it’s Jalinar from Chronicles of Tyria! We chatted, laughed at the dolyak, exchanged muffin recipes. You know, regular stuff.
    
  
  
  
• Guild missions with Maven which was a lot of fun!
  
• PvPed some more. Still a Dolyak! I had a great interaction with someone from the other team in Skyhammer!
  
• Trucking along on mah Legendary progress. It’s drawing ever closer!
  
• Bought the ram balloon … it makes me unreasonably happy
  
• MADE THE BEE GUN!!!!

• Special thanks to Chonmaho for sending me a bonetti’s the day after the show last week. It was very sweet :)
  
• Steak N Potatoes Man has been reborn for another keyfarm, this time as a Charr Ranger
  
• Played with my son through Queensdale for a bit. Helped him with his personal story. He actually really likes the story and reads through all the text. Good on you, writers! (He asked me what an oligarchy was >.<)
  
• Spent 79 laurels on T6 bags. Sigh.

My tip is in three parts.

1 do your daily,

2 do all the dungeon paths you can, and

3 do not spend any gold.

Why you ask, it is to prepared for HoT. No one knows yet what we will and will not need so If you are not prepared get prepared. I have a question as well, how are those who just started playing supposed to get some of the weapon and armor skins that were from special events like the spinal back pieces?

Shameless plug incoming. My guild MoAR (Misfits of Anvil Rock) is doing a story path Tuesday event next Tuesday. we will be doing the season two story for achievements, come and join us.

• C: It seems as though everyone is preparing for HoT! A lot of the pieces cannot be made without account bound items that were available/around only for the event in question. There are completed skins at the Laurel vendor, for a substantial amount of gold and time commitment (for laurels). For the spinal blade backpack specifically, you could technically still make if you were able to gain enough blade shards by killing aetherblades, completing the not-so-secret puzzle, and by maybe borrowing someone’s home instance for the Sprocket Generator mining node. The rest can be bought on the TP as needed.
  

 

Jars of Experience

Greetings Astonishing Celeste and Tremendous Allona,

From what has been explained so far the mastery tracks after being unlocked with the mastery points will level from regular experience. Now in the game there is a way to save up experience to get to that neat mastery thing you unlock faster.

Each daily you do in PvE the chest will contain one or two Writs of Experience, 4 PvE tasks are available each day. These are account bound and can be stored in the bank till needed. Tombs of Knowledge might work(can’t find that out till the release) but the Writs of Experience are just a jar of experience points.

Ok ok, now for full tin foil hat speculation time. Taunt seems more devastating than a fear. With fear, a character runs off in a direction and might end somewhere dangerous. A taunt your bringing a character to you, so that nice glassy cloth wearer running around can be dragged directly into a aoe or some big slow swing. While it is true the player/monster taunting will take damage, it’s only the one auto-attack skill. Players with taunt sound like they will be well loved for positioning.

Can you game mail items to other players like BL Claim Tickets & BL Scraps? I am assuming when you buy items with Karma, Crests or Laurels for example that they can not be mailed because they might be account or soul bound when you do. I have never tried to see if I could help my other gaming brothers or sisters out by sending them these rarer items like OB Shards.

• A: BL tickets and scraps can’t be mailed to another player. I know I said on an earlier show that my guildies pooled scraps to get me the lovestruck shield, but apparently they pooled gold and got it off the TP.
  
• C: If you’ve got the tickets you can buy the skin outright as a gift as well. It won’t be account or soul bound on acquire.
  

 

In-game tips from Tybolt

1. 
   
2. Use a crafting station as a bank access location. You may not be able to sue the crafting station to make anything, but you will still be able to access your bank through it.
   
3. Never go it alone. Guild Wars 2 is a very social game and the content is much more fun if you can bring along a friend to help you fungeon/explore/race/etc.
   
4. Change your settings. On jumping puzzles, it is sometimes easier if you change your graphics settings to Best Performance. The game might look terrible, but you will get much smoother gameplay while trying to make critical jumps.

Allona’s Tip: Keep missing the world bosses? There are plenty of boss timers available that will tell you when borld (BORLD! I typed it, I’m standing by it) bosses are active. Google GW2 Boss Timer and you will be INUNDATED with options.
