- Breakdown: Some crazy Mordrem monster in the same chamber as the machine
- Taimi and Braham facing down the inquest, Taimi’s already shaking in this shot
- C: What is even happening that she’s not in Scruffy to protect herself? Did they flee and Braham was carrying her rather than keeping her safe in her golem?
- A: Scruffy is lying prone on the ground, so something clearly happened that forced Taimi to get out.
- Shaking Taimi, what the heck is happening to her?! She’s standing next to her waypoint recalibration device btw, which might explain why she’s not in her golem
- C: This also goes hand in hand with the estimate she gave Phlunt saying that it would take a few weeks for the device to scan through the current network given that real world time = game time.
- Lights go out at The Pale Tree presumably before the conference… I thought it was like bioluminesce, i.e. is the tree dead?
- A: No. Can’t be. I don’t accept this.
Story speculation!
- A: I’ve recently been wondering if the toxin that Scarlett was working on will make a reappearance. I suspect Taimi will continue her look into Scarlett’s studies and that the toxin will become the definitive item that helps us defeat Mordy. But I also think that we’re going to come to the realization that killing dragons is, like, a crazy bad idea because their existence is important to the balance of Tyria. Taimi will figure out how to make the toxin into a big ol’ dragon-sized nightmare-inducing sleeping pill. It will keep the dragon’s asleep — and perhaps terrified. Which sounds kind of creepy now that I’m writing it out.
- Listener, Cal: What if Queen Jennah doesn’t exist at all, or died long ago, maybe as a child, and Countess Anise has been charged with maintaining her illusion for so many years, because otherwise Kryta would look weak without a leader by the other races (Charr). Or perhaps the royal line was thought to have died out with Jennah’s death. Anise is Shining Blade – sworn to protect the royal family. Quite a shame if Jennah had died under their watch, no? And now, talk of an artifact that can show who the heir to Kryta is? Interesting, eh? ;)
- Also Cal: Zhaitan’s defeat caused the imbalance, Glint’s baby (that we protected in GW1, and is suspected to be in the care of the Zephyrites) may have to take its place to restore that balance.

- What happened with Sohothin was a return to sender, Celeste immediately jumped to Rurik or the Orrians, but Cal was thinking that it would be the Gods. Sohothin was/is “an ancient and magical Orrian sword that predates the Exodus of the Gods.†Meaning that the Gods were around, not necessarily instrumental in its cultivation. Though technically the humans only had magic for a very short time (1 year) before the exodus so they may have in fact been forged by the gods? There’s a lot of lore discussion that either implies or refutes this statement, so until it’s answered definitively in game or by Angel/Scott we might never know. From Konig des Todes (a well-known lorehound) “the swords are of Orrian origins, made by the Orrian nation (or at least was implied such, not sure on exact wording atm) that was given to Ascalon as a token of peace.â€

- A: If ‘return to sender’ is the case, and if — like the Staff of the Mists, and the Scepter of Orr — it was created by the gods, can it even find them? As in, what if it gets sent to its creators specifically, not the location it was made. Could we have a return of the gods.

- C: This seems to further support the theory that a group is plotting for Jennah to die (if she’s still alive now)

- C: Further supports that she is now soundless. Why: a sylvari in the grove explains that she knows her friend is a soundless because she can’t sense her in the dream any longer.

Precursor Hustle
- C: I think I could sympathize with the plight of Anatoli’s wife, but now that I’ve been actively pursuing a legendary I can empathize as well.
- A: Personally, I don’t think this one thing would be enough to make someone not play … straw that broke the golem’s back, sure though.
Ask An Asura
#AskAnAsura - So from the trailer (there’s a lot going on there actually) Do you think that Taimi’s time in the machine affected her or something else?
- Professor Enzo – I’m sticking with my theory that she went back in and got her adorable little brain fried like Pippen and the palantÃr in lotr
- Misforawesome – Notice her eyes. Looked red to me. Or shall we say…scarlet? I think Taimi is going darkside regardless of what it was that made her look that way.
Allona’s Tip of the week: This is for established players. Screw the meta. Try different builds; try different weapons sets that you maybe aren’t familiar with. You might find something you’re surprised by and find you really enjoy it. And if you had tried certain builds or weapons as you were levelling and didn’t enjoy them at that point, give them another chance! Your experience level is that much better, you may find that you love certain skills or weapons that you didn’t care for initially. (Now to take my own advice and figure out manipulation skills on the Mesmer…)
