Around 2:30 a.m. this morning, San Juan police officers responded to a residential armed robbery at the 1200 block south foster street.
Two children and 4 adults were inside the home when the three armed suspects barged in searching for money and posing as federal law enforcement agents.
Fox 2 news spoke to one of the victims who tells us the bandits hit one of her family members on the head with the pistol and threatened the to hurt others.
They came asking for money and didn’t explain anything else. They were armed and one of them hit my cousing with the gun on his head cutting him open. They also tied our hands with duck tape and put duck tape around our eyes.
San Juan police urge people to stay be observant of their surroundings as criminals hunt for their prey.
Meanwhile, this morning’s home invasion victims say they no longer feel safe living in this neighborhood.
We have actually been living here about three or four months and we’ve neve hade gone through something like this before. This is the first time and i don’t feel safe no matter where i am anymore.
According to police, the suspects fled in a green Ford Ranger pick up truck. Detectives are working on putting together composite sketches of the assailants. So once they’re identified, they can bring them to justice.
