#82A Scriptures for the Latter Days Exo 5:20 Matt 26:69 - Nov 10,2012

I love the scriptures!!! Moses questions why the Lord has allowed hard things to come to the people of Israel when he was sent to set them free. The Lord explains what he will do and how he tries his people. Remember, the Lord had already told Moses much of what would happen in the previous chapters of scripture. Do we get frustrated sometimes when things do not happen as rapidly as we thought they ought to, especially when we have confirmation of the direction we are to go in? I suggest these scriptures do much to teach us about how to wait on the Lord for his deliverance. If we have done our part and look to him with real intent we will be redeemed. This is promised over and over and forget not that all that we experience, easy and difficult, is for our benefit and learning. This knowledge is part of the hope and joy that is in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Peter denies Christ as the Savior had foretold. I still believe that this is something that had a bit of instruction in it as well as the prophesy. I believe that Peter understood that he was to deny him so that he might be preserved to feed his sheep, I believe Peter was a very valiant man and would have fought to the death for his Savior and Master. I really believe this more by the Spirit and my heart than anything that I have read, except for the scriptures where Peter is asked three times :do you love me" and told if you do "feed my sheep". The three times he came out to them, to find them sleeping and the three times that he asked "remove this cup, but if it be thy will I will drink it up" seem to have a possible connection and witness of this as well. This is how I use the symbolisms that I see in the scriptures and in the world around me. Sorry, last week I got off track a bit. I will put this show of Scriptures for the Latter Days and will catch the Spanish Book of Mormon next week since that is way ahead. God bless!!!
