I have a full agenda this year to commemorate the 2012 Veterans Day weekend. First a Veterans ceremony with an Army General speaker. Next, a Veterans day parade; probably fix up some ribs on the barbie and drink a few ice teas. As one of my favorite holidays, I’ve learned that a grateful nation honors itself by honoring her Vets. In past years, I enjoyed free chicken wings — gratis for Veterans — compliments of Hooters restaurant. This year, no Hooter wings. The point is, this is a very important holiday that is noteworthy of celebration. BTW, are you as an American, enjoying your freedom? Then, ‘Thank a Vet!’
