It’s November everyone and that means it’s the month we celebrate Thanksgiving as well as National Elevator Escalator Safety week which is next week. Download the information packets from the EESF, partake in the workplace campaign and spread the word about safety. Also Chicago was in the news this past week after it was discovered how much money was being lost because of elevators that were not inspected. Here’s an idea, perhaps adding more inspectors and raising inspection fees and investing in some software to make it easier for the inspectors might be the answer.
