This weeks show is canceled due to the same technical issues as last week that were not fixed. Between getting ready for the Elevator U conference in Lincoln, NE and the demands at work due to a a few people that are on vacation it’s been a busier normal week and month. So figure the first week of July, the week of our nations birthday I’ll be back. I feel bad not being able to bring you the show but there’s only so much I can do.

I’m looking forward to seeing many of you next week in Lincoln.

On a serious note there was a serious escalator accident where an 11 year old boy fell from the top of an escalator when he was playing with the handrail.  While the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation does a good job at teaching kids the correct safety rules with its Safe-T-Rider program it’s just as important to educate parents who may not be aware of how to ride elevators, escalators and moving walkways correctly.  Never play around escalators.
