 Richard Wexelblat – History of Programming Languages 1965 - Richard Wexelblat was the first candidate to complete his doctoral dissertation, hence giving him a degree in “Computer Science“. It was presented at the University of Pennsylvania - Moore School of Electrical Engineering.
