Heavier Octaves Radio

The John Mayer Trio-John Mayer, and his hand selected pair of rock heavyweights, drummer Steve Jordan and bassist Pino Palladino will perform a concert at the Copley Symphony Hall on December 29,2009 in San Diego, California. A portion of the proceeds will benefit two military non-profits which provide rehabilitation and medical support to returning troops.

The Trio will also ring in the  New Year with a concert at The Joint in Las Vegas. Public sale is still on. Tickets can be purchased at a link provided on the Mayer official website. Here’s the address of the venue.

Drummer Steve Jordan, co-producer of Mayer’s new CD “Battle Studies” is an acclaimed session musician and record producer who has participated in studio sessions with Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones,Stevie Wonder and others. Bassist Pino Palladino was The Who’s first choice as replacement for their former bass player. Jordan is currently touring with Mayer on the Battle Studies engagements.
