Crafty Daisies‘ ingenious craft book club will be discussing Lotta Prints on October 22. To get in on the conversation, you just make a project from the book and then provide your insights on how it went and how the book helped (or not).

Janet, of the great Nuts About Needlepoint blog, has just launched a resource website, All About Needlepoint. There, you can find a stitch library, advice about threads, finishing techniques, a pattern directory, Q&A, and more.

I’m excited about this, because I think needlepoint is a seriously undervalued craft these days. And not just from a plastic-canvas standpoint.

Hey, Northwesterners - the mighty Plush You! opens this weekend in Seattle. (For the uninitiated, that’s a fab gallery show of plush toys-as-art.) It runs through October.
