The Red, White & Blue. The Stars & Bars. Old Glory. America… F**k yeah! In honor of our nations birthday we celebrate cinema by selecting our favorite American Movies. We left this topic purposely obtuse and open to interpretation and each of our panelists come up with their own unique way to define American Movies.

Speaking of the panel… We are delighted to be joined once again by the amazing Beckie Stocchetti. You may remember Beckie from our episode last summer at Chicago Filmmakers where she worked at the time. Well, she is now with the world famous documentary house behind such films as Hoop Dreams, The Interrupters, and this weekends Life Itself, Kartemquin Films. We are very excited to have her on again to discuss American Movies, Documentaries and a whole lot more.

So throw another brat on the grill, lather on some sun screen, and crack open a cold one. Listen to an earfull of Americana. Cheers!
