Booked reviews Zoo
by James Patterson. We have gone over a hundred episodes without reading a book that is arguably by the man who is arguably the biggest name in books, and we thought it was about time to put our money where our James Patterson-hating mouths are. When they announced Zoo – a book that’s not another in an existing series, but it’s own stand-alone book, we hesitantly jumped at the chance to read and review it.
Ugh. While we did our best to remain as objective and positive as possible, this book made it so hard to be nice to it! You’ll have to listen to hear more about it, but trust me, it wasn’t good. The review is good, the book? Not so much.

After an episode-sized Patterson Watch, we try to cheer ourselves up with a little Booked. News, we talk a bit about Nik Korpon’s new release Bar Scars – which you can buy right here:

Also, you gotta love Nik Korpon! Just check out this Canadian tuxedo:

Next episode, we get the ball rolling on our Noir At The Bar sessions. We have several interviews from some great authors in the upcoming Noir At The Bar 2 anthology, so we’re going to throw those down for you, and wrap it all up with a review of the book. Keep ‘em peeled for that to kick off next week! Also, don’t forget to like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, or go find us over on Goodreads.
