The Blubrry Jam to Fight Cystic Fibrosis is a campaign to help raise money for the Boomer Esiason Foundation Exercise For Life scholarship fund. The Blubrry podcast community is teaming up with the foundation and podsafe music artist Brother Love to help raise money for this effort.

We are calling on musicians, podcasters and their audience members to come together to support the campaign which is running up until May 15th, 2007.

About Cystic Fibrosis And The Boomer Esiason Foundation

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a fatal genetic disorder of the lungs typically diagnosed in early childhood. The disease is marked by chronic infections, clogged airways and digestive problems. The Boomer Esiason Foundation is committed to supporting those who are working to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Exercise For Life was created by the Boomer Esiason Foundation to educate and raise awareness about the importance of exercise for people living with CF. The Exercise For Life scholarship fund helps encourage those living with CF to exercise while providing them the financial means to fulfill their academic dreams.

Meet Jerry Cahill

Jerry Cahill Jerry is the host of the Cystic Fibrosis Podcast and the driving force behind the Exercise For Life campaign. He is a 50 year old man living with Cystic Fibrosis. Jerry attributes his longevity (average life expectancy with CF is 37 years) to diet and exercise.

Jerry doesn't mince words on the subject when he states, "“Exercise is the single most important thing in my life that keeps me healthy." Your donations will help to provide valuable financial support to those who heed Jerry's call and wish to get the most out of life even though they have Cystic Fibrosis.
