On Thursday April 8th at 8 PM EST, we will be joined by Bishop John Shelby Spong to discuss a variety of topics including his career and his new book Eternal Life: A New Vision. Bishop Spong is a retired bishop of the Episcopal Church Diocese of Newark. Throughout his career as a church reformer, Bishop Spong has advocated for the causes of feminism, racial equality, and gay rights in both the church and society. He is the author of over 20 books on his views of Christianity including Jesus for the Non-Religious and The Sins of Scripture.
