1) Use a password manager like Last Pass, 1Password or RoboForm

2) Don't use the same password at multiple sites

3) Remember the good old habits we learned years back on email attachments - don't assume anything is safe when it is sent to you by a third party (attachments and links).

Also, when someone sends you a direct message that says "you won't believe what they are saying about you online", DON"T CLICK ON IT. Just call the person who sent it and ask them if they know they sent it to you!
