I am slowly and deliberately re reading New Seeds of Contemplation by Thomas Merton. It amazes me how so many times in my life, God has shown off his ability to lead me in a direction.  Getting this book to the front of my mind was no different.

Life is difficult, that is one the greatest truth of life. As I am re reading the classic “The Road Less Traveled” I am hit with this obvious fact of life.  Of course, life is difficult. Oh wait, is it really “obvious”?
