I remember my Mom using her check register to continually balance her checking account. When I first had a checkbook, I did that too. However I don’t carry a checkbook normally but I do carry my iPad. So why not have an app that will help balance my expenses.

That is what Money for iPad is about. It figures out your bills and lets you schedule your accounts. If you get a weekly check, it will place it in for you. If you have a monthly bill it will deduct it. Add in other expenses to keep track of for taxes or just to make sure you don’t go over on your account.
