For business Monday, we look at two apps in the OmniGroup stable. OmniOutliner is one of those apps. You can make a series of lists – Outline your meetings, a book, a hierarchy and more. There have been people that have used OmniOutliner to make a family tree.
OmniOutliner does more than just lists. You can add photos and links, then turn your outline into a webpage or interactive document. Include different columns to add time, checkboxes and more.
OmniOutliner is $19.99 and is available for Mac and iPad.
We also look at OmniFocus, a way to schedule tasks and appointments. One item I really got into was the mapping feature. This is great for salespeople and others who visit locations.
You can set a map pin, then assign projects or tasks to that location. What is best about this option – If your salesperson is sick, or leaves, the next person knows exactly where to go from there.
