From Comics to TV

Before the dawn of Netflix, various streaming video options, and the more creative copyright-snubbing methods (like torrents for shows that the asshats holding copyright won’t put out there), we were relegated to turning on the TV, flipping through the channels, and hoping something awesome was on. For some of us, that meant about 6 stations (and having to get up to turn those knobs on the TV). One thing we could never get enough of was shows based on or inspired by comic books.


We’re guessing you too can hear the old ’67 Spider-Man theme (which also made its return at the end of the first theatrical flick), the ’60s Batman theme, or the music that signaled that your favorite super hero was about to kick some ass (or butt, if it’s one of those older shows). So we figgered we’d just talk about it and ride some of the old nostalgia train since we’re getting into the busiest part of this year for some of us.
